Draft of bill against usury to be send to parliament
The government is taking decision regarding sending a draft of a law against usury to parliament. A meeting of the Council of Ministers this afternoon will give final shape to the draft of the related law and give approval for tabling it in the parliament, said Surya Kiran Sharma, the Press Coordinator of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
Sharma added that the Prime Minister had instructed before this to prepare the draft law for resolving the problem of people affected due to loan sharking and the draft has already been readied.It is said preparations are being made to give approval to the Ministry concerned to register a bill against usury in the parliament as the government has already prepared the draft law to address the demands of the usury victims.
